WILLIAM-MOREY HOSPITAL

Founded in 1529 by the city fathers, the hospital stands on the St Laurent Island.

In the rooms restored by the « Abigail Mathieu » Society, you will find the 18th century pharmacy, the pewter room and the refectory with its magnificent 18 th century panelling..

Don’t miss the Renaissance building which houses the apartments of the Sisters of St Martha and a chapel with 16 th century stained glass (scenes from the stories of Joseph, Moses and the life of Christ.

This remarkable site features in the Guide of Hôtels-dieu and Pharmacies of Burgundy and Rhône-Alps.

Guided tours on the 1st and the 3rd Sundays of the month for 5 people minimum. Book in advance.
In July and in August: without booking

From 01/01 to 31/03 and from 01/10 to 31/12:
On Wednesday at 2.30pm: guided tours

From 01/04 to 31/05:
On Wednesday and Thursday at 2.30pm

From 01/06 to 30/09:
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 2.30 pm: guided tours

From 01/07 to 31/08:
On Saturday from 5pm to 6pm. Discover on your own the pharmacy.

Prices:
3€ or 2.50€ for groups (10 persons min.)
Free for under 15

Groups can be received all year round except during Bank holidays.
